About the Author
Gudrun Erla is a world-renowned quilt designer, author, and teacher, and the creative force behind GE Designs.
She is the inventor of the Stripology rulers and Stripology techniques, which has helped thousands of quilters simplify cutting and speed up their sewing.
Born and raised in Iceland, she brings her deep love for her homeland into every quilt design. All of her books are written, designed, and published through her company, GE Designs.

Great instructions
Awesome book- Gudrun always puts top quality in her books, projects, patterns, rulers, and instructions! Love reading her books cover to cover- this latest one follows suit. I did the actual BOM quilt and loved completing each block. I displayed this book on my coffee table this past Christmas next to the chair displaying my guilt.
I enjoyed the entire book, pictures, designs, stories , recipes and instructions for projects. Beautiful pictures, a lovely book to look at multiple times.

I love the addition of the recipes to the information we had had included during the mystery quilt. Personally, I would have rather we ended up with a green Christmas tree but I can live with it. The inclusion of the bonus designs makes this a worthwhile purchase even if we did the mystery quilt.

What a beautiful book! The photography is beautiful and I love learning the story behind each block. There are some yummy looking recipes and cocktails to try. The book also includes 4 bonus patterns that I can't wait to stitch up. Thank you Gudrun for this beautiful quilt and book that will become an heirloom.

An excellent book all round. Attractive illustrations; informative text , and some interesting recipes. Only minus - I would have preferred a book that I will want to keep long term to be in a hardcover format.
